Welcome to Empowered Path Therapeutic Services

I look forward to sharing a little more about the services I provide and my background and experience.  I specialize in working with individuals who experience chronic illness and chronic pain, anxiety, or complex trauma/PTSD. My training and experience includes formal trainings and certifications in TANT, TF-CBT, and other evidence based practices. I focus on utilizing a combination of narrative therapy, trauma therapy, and expressive art therapy, to include use of tarot and oracle cards to increase self-awareness.

In relation to services, I offer individual therapy and LCSW licensure supervision in Tennessee. Also, I provide preparation nationwide for candidates of the ASWB exam. Through these services, my goal is to provide all clients with the best and most effective version of myself.

I made the decision to start Empowered Path as I navigated the world of private practice in Tennessee. With recent events worldwide, having someone listen, support, validate, and challenge with gentleness is critical. Now, more than ever before, mental health needs to be prioritized and addressed.

I obtained my Master’s Degree in Social Work from Boston College in 2009 and got licensed in Tennessee and North Carolina. My experience and knowledge grew in a variety of settings, including residential treatment, in home services, and private practice. I am passionate about helping people discover themselves and coming to understand what their path in life holds for them. My therapeutic approach is eclectic in nature and has been cultivated throughout my 14+ years of experience. I strive to ensure that treatment is individualized, nonjudgmental, and flexible to meet the needs of each client. I work to guarantee that all people who seek services through me are able to feel accepted and seen.
